The present status of the academic libraries have been influenced by the digital resources to provide fast, integrated, Interactive digital, alert, table of content and comprehensive services to their users. This edited volume is designed to bring out the all corners of digital convergence towards to reach the unreached people. It has various applications including project initiatives like library operation, Digital Resources, Digital technology, Digital learning, Digital initiatives, Digital content and Digital gamification. In these circumstances the editors were collected 58 papers from Library and Information Science Professionals in the National level and titled on Innovative Librarianship: Impetus to Digital Convergence. Contents are edited suitably in order to appreciate the professionals. This edited volume consists of 58 papers from Library and Information Science Professionals under five themes such as, i) Application of Innovative Technologies in Libraries, ii) Acceleration of Digital Convergence, iii) Online Tools and its Applications, iv) Shaping the Digital Content and v) Perspectives of Digital Initiatives

About Author
Dr. S. Dhanavandan, is working as Deputy Librarian at Central University of Tamil Nadu,
Thiruvarur-610005. Tamil Nadu. He serves twenty three years in the LIS profession. He has
guided Six Ph.D scholars and Doctoral Committee member in various Universities in Tamil
Nadu. He has published more than 145 articles in National and International Journals and
more than 175 papers presented and published in National and International Conferences.
And he authored more than 4 books in Library and Information Science and 60 Chapters
published in edited books. He has attended more than 50 Seminars/Workshops and training
programmes. And he adjudicated many Ph.D theses of various universities in Tamil Nadu. He
served as Chairperson and resource person in many workshop and conferences and also he
organized more than 17 workshop and conferences
